Google has today unveiled their new rendition of ‘Real Time Search’. Real Time Search was first released last December but Google has taken the further step of not only adding new features but rather giving this new tool a page of it’s own.

There have long been rumours regarding the possibility of Google releasing a Chrome OS powered tablet device. These rumours have arguably been spurred on by leaked tablet mock-ups and more so, wishful thinking; buoyed by an emerging tablet craze.

Google has finally released their Web Store for developers to begin uploading their web applications in preparation for the store’s final launch this October.

An unnamed source has confirmed to Download Squad that Google is indeed working on a Chrome OS tablet. According to the leak, Google has been working alongside HTC to produce the device for the last few months. This comes at no surprise as Google has previously worked closely with HTC on it’s Nexus One phone.

In a recent news leak reported today by Techcrunch; it has been revealed that the American mobile phone career, Verizon may be working with Google on a Chrome OS powered device.

Today, Hexxeh revealed a new build of Chromium OS which he seems to have code named ‘Vanilla’. This new release is straight from Google and he has described it as “beta quality” on his blog. He empasizes that due to this the build may not even be stable enough to run for some people but may run for others

Earlier on last week we examined the startling similarities between Google’s Chrome OS and Jolicloud. Of-course Chrome OS hasn’t even been released yet, but I felt it more than fitting to compare the two operating systems by virtue of the purpose that they either serve or will attempt to serve in the future.

A recent discovery by DownloadSquad has revealed that Google has deployed Cloud Print on their latest Chromium OS builds.
