As we are all currently celebrating the newly announced Chrome OS for the netbook market; I thought it would be fitting to take a sneak peak into the future of netbooks and laptops. After all, if the operating systems are becoming more complex and user friendly, wouldn’t it be fitting to take a gander into what hardware might become?

Technological change has become so fast paced that today’s most powerful computers will be likened to mere handheld calculators in the future. It is said that the technology that sent the first Apollo mission to the moon was hardly as advanced as the circuitry one would find in a modern day Ipod for example.

Nevertheless as my wacky tradition goes; I was browsing through the technology videos on YouTube and came across what seems to be the newest video sensation. This is a demo of the so called “rolltop” which is tagged as the laptop of the future. Why a rolltop rather than laptop? Well watch the video, tell us what you think about it.
