Cydle Shows Off its Android Tablet and Chrome OS Netbook

Sadly, very patchy news has come out of CES 2010 regarding Chrome OS and what devices will support it. Google has kept rather tight lipped despite previous rumours that they will be announcing a so called “Google Tablet” which has been of much talk on the internet recently.

There was also much expectation on the possibilioty of independent netbook companies announcing, or at least showcasing the devices that they will release with the upcoming operating system. As it stands we are all still asking the most basic of questions; “when is Chrome OS actually coming out”.

On a more possitive note we have some relatively exciting news about one company that has ventured to devulge information on their offering for Chrome OS and Android in the coming few months. The electronics company ‘Cydle’ showed off a netbook which they say will feature Chrome OS and a tablet which will be running a full version of Android:

The 7″ Tablet will have a $199 MSRP with built-in ATSC and the company plans to have the Google Marketplace integrated. They are also saying that they will provide ARM Cortex based Chrome OS netbook.
