Conduit Releases Platform For Chrome App Development!
Conduit; the company that brought us the ‘Conduit Toolbar’ and a whole host of amazing web applications has released a new platform to allow developers of all skill levels to create Apps for the upcoming Google Web Store. These Apps will function on the already booming community of over 70 million Chrome Users and users of the upcoming Chrome Operating System.
This therefore means that Conduits is the first company to provide a platform for anyone to create and deploy free apps for Google Chrome with no developer skills whatsoever. According to their press release; ”Conduit has also made thousands of Google Chrome-compatible apps available in the Conduit App Marketplace, making it the largest resource for Google apps outside of Google”.
This indeed presents exciting times as already Google has just announced that the Chrome OS release is very soon (Q4 of 2010) hence a commitment this large from a company such as Conduits presents a conducive environment for a successful Chrome OS launch.
Read The Press Statement:
June 2, 2010 — San Mateo, Calif. — Conduit®, the company enabling
web publishers to distribute their offerings directly and through its
global network of publishers, today announced a support for the Google
Chrome browser and its rapidly growing base of more than 70 million
users. Conduit is the first company to provide a platform for
publishers of any size to create and deploy free apps for Google
Chrome. With the launch of this beta program, Conduit has also made
thousands of Google Chrome-compatible apps available in the Conduit
App Marketplace, making it the largest resource for Google apps
outside of Google. With this development, it is now possible for companies using Conduit
Platform to market themselves and distribute their content to Google
Chrome users, which make up nearly 10 percent of the browser market.
The complete online marketing solution also provides tools for each
step of the online marketing process, including promotional tools,
desktop communication alerts, and rich analytics for app optimization.“Google Chrome is growing in popularity fast, so we have made our
platform compatible with theirs – offering even more tools and
services in the browser for our customers,” said Adam Boyden,
president of Conduit. “We are the first to enable web publishers to
deploy branded apps on all four major browsers and exponentially
increase their brand-recognition, visibility and reach on the web.”With the addition of Google Chrome extensions, Conduit now offers apps
for more than 95% of all Internet users through the four major
browsers – Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and now Google Chrome.
“This levels the playing field for small web publishers who can now
deploy powerful apps across a multitude of browsers – currently
something only large brands with big pockets can do. Offering a
platform to create Google Chrome extensions gives small publishers a
much needed ‘first-mover’ advantage,” continued Boyden.

Nothing more than a browser redirect hack, should be classified as a hack and the software engineers should be sued as such.
It’s very trouble-free to find out any topic on web as compared to books, as I found this piece of writing at this web page.
