Hexxeh’s Chromium OS Flow – Review

It’s been over a year since Google teased us by announcing their plans to release an operating system this year. Since then there has been a stringent news blackout by the Internet giant, leaving us bloggers wondering how Chrome OS will work of look.

Well this is were Chromium OS comes in for the rescue. Chromium OS is the freely available source code which any developer can play with to create a ‘distribution’ (distro) of their own. Many developers have been messing around with Chromium OS ever since the source code was made available by Google last year.

‘Chromium OS Flow’ by Hexxeh is the most successful of these distributions hence I couldn’t miss the chance to share this review video that I recently discovered.

  1. Hi Nigel.
great presentation..! I can't wait to buy a netbook with Chrome OS, would you know if it would have a place to access your photo's and documents offline like gears and picasa ?
