Chrome Browser Hits 160 million Users!
The Tuesday session of Google I/O 2011 is underway and Google is gloating in the success of Chrome (Browser). According to Sundar Pichai (Product VP) the browser has now hit over 160 million active users. This is more that double the growth since Google I/O 2011 when the browser was at 70 million active users.
Sundar Pichai also spoke about how Google prides itself in releasing new versions of Chrome more often than competitors. Chrome is now at version 12 and the graph above shows all the new features that have come with the browser through each iteration.
