Samsung/Acer Chrome Notebooks – Full Pricing List
Yesterday Engadget released a more complete list of the pricing details for the Samsung Series 5 and the Acer Chromebook devices in their various flavours. Each device comes in either wi-fi only or 3g and wi-fi versions. The Samsung Series 5 will come in two colours; white and black.

6 Comments Amazon Begins Preps For Chrome Notebook Sales
It seems that Amazon has been quick on the ball and has begun prepping it’s store front for the impending release of the Samsung Series 5 and the Acer Chromebook devices. It is not clear if Amazon will be accepting pre-orders in the near future but all that is certain is that both notebooks will be shipping on the 15th of June onwards.

You remember how Apple paraded the Ipad as ‘revolutionary’ and ‘magical’? How about ‘post-PC’? Well, not to be outdone, Google released a quirky little ad just after the Google I/O Keynote today and of-course they are showing of their new baby, the Chrome Notebook. They won’t go as far as saying that it’s ‘magical’, rather Google went for a more light yet potent slogan:

You remember the rumoured Acer ZGB Chrome Notebook that we reported about a few weeks ago? Well, It’s here! Today Google Unveiled the Acer Chromebook during the Google I/O developer conference in California. This device was showcased alongside the Samsung Series 5 Chrome Notebook. Both will go on sale on June 15th. Initially you will only be able to grab one of these from Best Buy or Amazon in the USA.

Folks, here are the glorious pictures of the just announced Samsung Chrome Notebook. It will be called the Samsung Series 5 And will sell for $429 (Wifi only version) and $499 (3g) respectively. The device will begin shipping on the 15th of June and will be on sale online from Best Buy and Amazon.

Yes! Google has announced two new netbooks from Samsung and Acer . These will be the first to market and will begin selling in June this year. Best Buy and Amazon will begin selling these devices online on the 15th of June.

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for; Google will announce their $20 per month Chrome Notebook subscription service later on today. Alongside, a number of Chrome Notebooks will either be announced or showcased. It is now more than certain that Samsung will make a showing with their much talked about ‘ZGB’ and ‘Alex’ notebooks. Google is also set to announce the final timeline of Chrome OS’ release whcih will likely see Chrome Notebooks going on sale as early as June this year.

Yes, you read correctly. Details are coming in that Samsung have sent out an invite to journalists for an event Which will kick off just after Google’s I/O developer conference in California (which begins on May 10th). Samsung’s event will be taking place on Wednesday the 11th.

News just coming in shows that Samsung has been secretly working on a Chrome OS powered notebook for some time. This was reveled in a recently released bug report by the Chrome Team who were testing the device. A few days ago we revealed news about the discovery of the Acer ‘ZGB’ Chrome Notebook (in Chromium bug reports) and already we have another device to look forward to.

Details seem to have leaked out about a possible Acer netbook which is currently being bug tested with Chrome OS. According to Macles, this device appeared in the Chrome bug reports and was quickly taken down by Google a few months ago when speculation became rife.
