Richard Stallman, (founder of the Free Software Foundation and creator of the operating system GNU) has sent a chilling warning to all Google lovers out there; especially those planning on purchasing Chrome OS devices next year. His warning is clear and simple; ‘Chrome OS is evil because it forces people to store all their data on the cloud’. During an interview with the Guardian Newspaper, Richard seems to have gone through a lengthily tirade about how people have become dumb enough to fall for Chrome OS due to all the media hype. He seems to elude to people’s laziness as a contributing factor in ‘subcontracting’ their personal data to the cloud. He calls it “careless computing”.
